She is trained in Clinical Trauma, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to facilitate healing for family dysfunctions, abuse, deep traumatic events, and distressing memories.  Vicky assists marital couples to improve communication, restore understanding and trust, and rebuild a healthy marital relationship.  She also provides counseling with dating relationships, family restoration, parenting and children's concerns.  Vicky naturally gravitates to those feeling discouraged and hopeless.  Her counseling office is a collaborative and safe place with mutual respect, compassion, confidentiality, and unconditional support.

Vicky’s experience includes working as a Mental Health Counselor, and a Marriage & Family Therapist at New Hope Counseling Center.  She has helped many individuals and couples come to a place of emotional healing, understanding, and restoration.  Vicky was also a therapist at a community mental health counseling and sobriety recovery center.  She assisted with severe mental health struggles, and alcohol and substance abuse dependencies toward recovery in a clinical setting.  Additionally, Vicky was a successful business professional working for many years as a senior financial analyst for Bank of Hawaii and the Federal Reserve Bank in San Francisco.  Her wisdom and life experiences are available to assist with personal struggles, conflict resolution and stress management.

Vicky is happily married to Terry. They are parents to three wonderful children ~ two sons and a daughter.  They served together as pastors of Calvary Assembly of God for 23 years, and directed the Honolulu Celebrate Recovery 12-step restoration program at the church before stepping down in ministry.  Vicky offers emotional healing and mentoring with a deep passion for prayer.  She enjoys riding horses, spending time by the ocean, hiking, playing pickleball and tennis, as well as bargain shopping, sharing gourmet meals and enjoying quality time with friends and family.  She is a Chinese Canadian, born and raised in Vancouver, Canada.
