For over 3 years, Vicky has adamantly stuck by my side to help me overcome depression, anxiety, intense rage, and crippling addiction.  Our sessions always felt perfectly balanced with empathy, logic, and encouragement.  I felt valued and validated through our talks.  I learned to accept and let go of things that I thought I never could.  Vicky made me feel comfortable to be completely vulnerable, even more than anyone else in my life.  I will never be the same man again, and I owe it to Vicky.

Depression had literally killed members of my family and I had been self-medicating from its debilitating grip since I was 15. Consistently meeting with Vicky every two weeks in a totally safe environment allowed me to open up and expose the lies of my hidden shame to the loving light of truth one layer at a time.  Today, at age 70-years-young, I am free of my old habits, hurts and hang-ups, and have earned the respect and admiration of my family.  I could not have done this alone!  

I felt so lost and broken after my husband and I separated, and I found myself taking care of my two young children. Vicky helped me to pick up the pieces and through her kind works and encouragement, I was able to persevere, heal and forgive. Vicky is very caring and professional, her words and prayers got me through my doubts and fears, and she helped open my eyes to new opportunities. Her positive outlook on life is very contagious and I'm so thankful to have been under her care when I needed it the most.

Due to surviving physical, sexual, and psychological abuse, I was diagnosed with having pseudo seizures caused by trauma. There were so many things that I was completely oblivious to that I was able to learn about myself through Vicky’s amazing counseling skills. I have healed so much in less than a year that I am thrilled to say that I no longer have pseudo seizures. Vicky is not just a wonderful Christian therapist but very well trained in EMDR that helped in my healing journey to safely navigate through traumatic memories that were hidden in my subconscious. Thankfully, once these memories surfaced, I could then take them before God and fully heal. If you’re looking for a highly skilled, non-judgmental professional, I highly recommend Vicky Wong. 

I found Vicky, and have consistently been able to grow, change, move forward, get out of my comfort zone and become a healthier person.  The journey to wholeness is challenging but Vicky makes it worth sticking with the necessary process.  If you have experienced trauma, she is the counselor you want to see!  She is kind, truly understanding, well-educated, and goes above and beyond the job she is paid to do.  Vicky is one of my favorite people on the planet, and I mean that with my whole heart.
